Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or similar tools
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation processes
- Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures
- Ability to perform basic budgeting tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies or errors in financial records
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide financial information
