Job Description:

You will oversee the accounting functions of 15-18 assigned self-storage facilities and will have responsibilities that include, but not limited to:

• Work with field management team to ensure proper reporting to ownership, external partners, and agencies
• Maintain general ledgers, reconcile accounts, and make required adjustments as needed
• Complete and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly close for each assigned property and prepare required financial reports for the investors, owners, and managers
• Perform revenue and expense analysis in the evaluation of property performance
• Bank deposit verification
• Adherence of tax filing requirements
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex financial data or information
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and a willingness to approach work with a sense of urgency and be accountable for results
• Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and accounting software, specifically Yardi is preferred
• Multi property accountant experience and extensive knowledge in Yardi will give you an advantage in this role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
