Premiere Home Builders Inc. is a leading construction company specializing in residential home building projects. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping/Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our accounting and administrative functions, ensuring the smooth operation of our business operations.


Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, billing, and collections.

- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial reports.

- Assist with payroll processing, including employee timekeeping, payroll deductions, and tax filings.

- Monitor and track expenses, budgets, and financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning and decision-making.

- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely payment and receipt of invoices and payments.

- Provide administrative support to the management team, including scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, and organizing meetings and events.

- Maintain office supplies and equipment, and assist with general office administration tasks as needed.

- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.


Qualifications:

- Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative roles, preferably in the construction or real estate industry.

- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Peachtree, and Microsoft Office suite.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping and administrative tasks.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of construction accounting principles and practices is a plus.
