One to Two years in outpatient Primary Care practice experience is STRONGLY PREFERRED.
This new building and practice is located in the growing West End of Richmond in the Short Pump area. Here we see a wide demographic mix of patients from all backgrounds and walks of life. Great Retail and Restaurant destination - new and established housing areas - also on a Bus Line for easy access! Located directly off of Rt 250 West/West Broad Street - near the entrance to I-295 and Route 288. Lots of well-lit onsite parking.
- Team of 4 MD/DOs and 1 NP
- Work hours M-F 8:00-5:00
- 100% outpatient - no hospital responsibility
- After-hours call is shared in rotation - 1 week out of every 5 weeks - Phone only
- EPIC EMR and MyChart for telehealth
- Practice is open to patients of all ages, but current panel is all age 16 and up - high volume of adult/geriatric
- Average 18-20 patients per day after ramp-up period
- Very few procedures - may include some basic women's health and occasional joint injections
- Must be well-trained and competent/confident in chronic disease management and acute care visits, well visits
- 1:1 provider CMA/LPN
- Clinical Supervisor, Patient Service Representatives, Diabetes Educator on site, Lab and imaging in the building.
- We're looking for a team player who can communicate effectively and respectfully with patients and colleagues. It's important that this provider be organized, efficient, close charts daily and be flexible, willing to help cover when others are out for PTO or sick. We are BIG on teamwork here, and everyone pitches in to help patients and each other no matter the task. We are a work family who cares for each other and works well together.
Bon Secours offers it's employed providers a guaranteed base compensation, and additional bonuses are available for wRVU productivity and attaining quality goals. 32 days of frontloaded allowed time off for holidays, CME and time out of office, up to 8 additional weeks for parental time off, medical/dental/vision/Rx/FSA/403b plus matching %. Company-paid life insurance, short/long term disability, malpractice/liability/tail coverage. Up to $5,000 relocation allowance is available if you move more than 50 miles - this is a reimbursement and is taxable by law.
