Description:
- Combining body & paint experience (1 year minimum).
- Identifying and resolving parts required for repairs, reviewing repair orders, Body Shop managers estimate notes, following warranty guidelines, and notifying supervisor of any repair add-ons required.
- Adjusting, replacing, and repairing all series of makes/models (ex: sheet metal repairs, fiberglass/panel repairs, fabrication & structural welding, installing and aligning truck cab body components, electrical & mechanical repairs, etc.).
- Road testing vehicles when necessary to ensure quality repair.
- Maintaining current knowledge of job and technical skills including truck manufacturer's repair process
- Performing work as outlined on repair estimates with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Having the ability to disassemble and inspect for additional or hidden repairs.
- Advising Body Shop estimator of additional damage or supplemental needs or if repairs will not be completed on time.
- Leading work of any apprentice technicians and maintaining ASE certification
- Being proficient in the use of pneumatic power tools and other hand tools.
- Having the ability to understand and follow safety procedures in accordance with EPA requirements.
- Having a track record of working in a fast-paced environment, completing work with a sense of pride.
- Performing other duties assigned by a manager/supervisor; being adaptable.
Compensation
- Hourly Pay: $20-$40 per hour
- Paid by-weekly
- Flat Rate Opportunity, if qualified
- Sign On Bonus Eligible

Work Schedule
- 1st Shift
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Body Shop Technician on Class 6-8 vehicles or in light-duty/automotive field.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to submit to and pass background check and drug screening test.
- Necessary tools to perform position responsibilities.
- Ability to pass an annual fit test.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent customer service, verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- A positive team attitude is a must!
·Preferred
- Class A CDL.
- Technical degree.
- Specializing in specific areas (i.e. sheet metal repairs, fiberglass panel repairs, structural welding, installation, alignment, electrical, etc.) is a plus!
