Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all operations onboard the vessel, including navigation, maintenance and compliance with local regulations
- Instructing all new crewmembers in safety procedures
- Making sure that the boat gets to where it is supposed to be timely.
- Operating and/or sailing the vessel either through a manual or computer-guided operation.
- Inspecting the boat, inside and outside, to ensure it is entirely safe for crew and passengers, and that it is seaworthy.
- Maintain vessel operations and maintenance logs, personnel reports, and other required boat records.
- Comply with all Park policies, to ensure passengers, guests, and visitors to Crater Lake have a quality experience.
- Must have all appropriate licenses.
Experience:
- Boating: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Captain's license (Required)
