Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individual needs, strengths, and areas for intervention.
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians and other team members.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and monitor treatment goals.
- Collect and analyze data to measure progress and make data-driven decisions.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior support plans as needed.
- Stay current on the latest research and best practices in ABA and related fields.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and interventions.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a BCBA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of applied behavior analysis.
- Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques.
- Commitment to ethical conduct and professional development.
