**Job Title:** School Behavior Analyst
**Location:** Various Head Start Schools on the West Side of Detroit
**Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM
### Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Behavior Analyst to join our team in the Head Start school setting. This role involves conducting classroom observations, performing individual assessments, and developing tailored behavior intervention plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavior analysis, exceptional observational skills, and a passion for supporting children's social and emotional development. You will work closely with teachers and other educational staff to implement evidence-based strategies aimed at reducing challenging behaviors and promoting a positive learning environment.
### Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive classroom observations to identify areas of improvement and assess the effectiveness of behavior management strategies.
- Perform individual assessments for children suspected of having Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other behavioral concerns, utilizing a variety of assessment tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to provide evidence-based strategies and interventions aimed at reducing disruptive behaviors and enhancing classroom dynamics.
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment findings and monitor their implementation and effectiveness over time.
- Actively participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other relevant discussions to share insights and progress related to behavior management strategies.
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to rotating classes, ensuring all staff members are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to manage classroom behaviors effectively.
- Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in the field of behavior analysis and incorporate new findings into practice to continuously improve the quality of support provided.
### Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification strongly preferred.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with ASD and other developmental disorders, in an educational or clinical setting.
- Proficient in conducting behavioral assessments and developing intervention plans.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A commitment to promoting inclusive education and supporting the unique needs of all students.

Pay: $25.34 - $30.52 per hour
