Independently performs all routine Nuclear Medicine/nuclear cardiology procedures including SPECT imaging following prescribe protocols and procedures adhering to the NCR/state guidelines. Produces high quality diagnostic images utilizing computers to process images and access the EMR/HIS system. Responsible for daily QC, equipment and hot lab maintenance. Demonstrates competence in the assessment, range of treatment, and knowledge of growth and development, appropriate to the age and disability of the patients treated.
Education:
Minimum: Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Program

Registration/Certification/Licensure:
Certified in Nuclear Medicine by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and Healthcare Provider CPR
Experience:
Minimum: Clinical rotation through education program.
Preferred: Six months Nuclear Medicine experience.
Other requirements:
Responsible to safely access, transport, and handle single dose medications to include prescription and non-prescription medications. Responsible to safely access, transport, and handle sharps, such as needles, suture kits, lancets, syringes, etc.
