BMC Remedy Engineer

Duties & responsibilities:

Gunnison is looking for a BMC ITSM Engineer to support BMC Remedy Helix Migrations.

Responsible for migration of platforms, development of workflow, data forms, reconciliation and normalization jobs, and discover patterns required to implement and maintain a fully populated and functioning Remedy ITSM installation.

• Migrate on-prem BMC Remedy installations to BMC Helix SaaS environment.
• Migrate on-prem BMC Remedy integrations to BMC Helix SaaS environment.
• Provides Guidance on Device Credentials and Port Settings
• Creates Application and Service Dependency Relationship Maps
• Ensure Data Integrity
• Provides Guidance on Common Data Model Development and Product Catalog

Required Qualifications:

• BMC ITSM Engineer with 3-5+ years of subject matter expertise with Helix/Remedy ITSM, Atrium CMDB, BMC Discovery, Common Data Model (CDM), Product Catalog Configuration, Normalization and reconciliation job development, and Remedy integrations.
• Must have experience with Helix Data Manager (HDM).
• Understanding Database Structures
• Working knowledge of Cloud, Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, RedHat, Linux, and Windows Operating Systems
• BMC Helix ITSM Associate Certification required.
• Basic understanding of networking and network security
• Requires effective verbal and written communications skills to consult with management, business partners and vendors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BMC Helix Remedy migration experience
• BMC Discovery Experience
• Security+ certification or Certified Ethical Hacker certification
• AWS certification

Education: BS in Technology-Related Field or 5-10 years of relevant experience

ClearanceRequirement: Active Secret clearance desired.
