This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.

 

Position Summary:

The Developer’s primary role is to transform business functional requirements into technical solutions as well as provide 2nd and 3rd level tier support for the organization’s core systems.  The Developer is expected to perform technical analysis, design, development/unit testing, debugging, and implementation of process and technology for new or existing business applications.

 

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Technical analysis, design, development (including unit testing, debugging, and root cause analysis), and deployment of new and/or existing business applications and software.  Development will include interface and integration work between Blue Yonder SCPO/ABPP applications and legacy tools.
  • Configuration and development of enhancements and integrations for Blue Yonder Demand, Demand 360, Fulfillment, S&OP, and Luminate Control Tower
  • Lead Blue Yonder batch monitoring and tuning activities to support BY operational performance
  • Lead code migration across environments and technical cutover and deployment activities
  • Work directly with IT Service Center and business on support issues with high degree of responsiveness and resolution
  • Provide technical expertise when evaluating and designing solutions ensuring all components and subsystems impacted are properly addressed during business application build and deployment
  • Oversee and provide technical analysis and design expertise during development of business applications
  • Will be required to create test cases and assist in technical and end-user testing.
  • May be required to help deploy solutions
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the business and all areas within the IT function
  • Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience with technical development in Blue Yonder SCPO and ABPP platforms
  • 2+ years’ experience configuring Blue Yonder Demand, Fulfillment, and S&OP applications including UDTs, UDCs, user set up/access, FE pages, dashboards, and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of the Blue Yonder SCPO and ABPP database schemes; knowledge of Blue Yonder IGP
  • Certification in Blue Yonder SCPO Technical, Blue Yonder SCPO Implementation
  • 2+ years’ experience with Oracle and PL/SQL programming language
  • Experience with Control-M for batch set up and monitoring
  • Experience with Blue Yonder Connect
  • Knowledge of SFTP, XML, and JSON
  • Understanding of information systems and business processes
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, teamwork and relationship building skills in order to work effectively and contribute to a team environment
  • Ability to effectively work with business users to ensure technical solution meets business requirements
  • Highly skilled in root cause analysis, debugging, and understanding E2E technical data flows
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Supply Chain
  • Experience with Blue Yonder SaaS/Cloud environments
  • Experience with EDI transactions and ASNs
  • Experience with MuleSoft
  • Experience with Microsoft development stack
  • Experience with database development against SQLServer, Oracle and/or DB2
  • Experience with DevOps methodology and working within an Azure environment
  • Experience with VIP system (Vermont Information Processing) and Snowflake
  • Experience with Blue Yonder Luminate Control Tower
  • Experience with PowerBI
