Since the acquisition, BrightPet increased capacity by 135%. The facility also has light manufacturing capabilities for care products.

Monday - Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 am to 6:30 pm (work all 36 hours, paid for 40 hours)
3rd Shift, Sunday - Thursday 7:30 pm to 6:00 am
Job Summary: Responsible for operating and maintaining food production blending mixers, record keeping, food safety standards in the meat processing production department.
Essential Functions:
- Completes all start up procedures for the blending department mixers.
- Responsible for initial stocking of the department with ingredients prior to start up and maintaining the stock levels throughout the shift run.
- Verify that all equipment is running properly and troubleshoot/fix repairs when necessary.
- Bring in all new order materials for staging and tempering of product.
- Gather samples from each production run and give them to the Quality Control department.
- Weigh product for verification of recipe specifications to maintain proper product weights of ingredients.
- Work on the line as needed to fill in for other personnel.
- Run additional jobs as needed to fill production quotas.
- Document and report all end of day counts.
- Shut down and clean the line at the end of each day.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to regularly bend and stoop while working.
- Must be able to repetitively lift a maximum of 50 lbs. waist high and over the shoulder.
- Must be able to operate powered industrial vehicles for materials movement.
- Must be able to follow work instructions, effectively communicate information to co-workers and management, and write legibly.
- Must be able to comprehend the various phases of the position.
- Must be able to complete simple math problems.
- Must have good dexterity.
Specific Requirements:
- Must be able effectively work and interact in a team environment.
- Must be able to work in cold, wet environments at or below 42 degrees.
- Assist other personnel to accomplish tasks throughout their assigned shift.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Manufacturing environment with Good Manufacturing Practices
- Standing for long periods of time.
