The Process Technician initiates the ice cream manufacturing process and keeps things moving smoothly throughout the day and the week. Process Technicians utilize raw materials for mixing and pasteurizing custard and flavor bases. “Hold” tanks are used to store the custard and bases until it is transferred to the flavor vats in the production room. The custard and bases, along with ice cream mix, flavoring and chocolate, are then frozen as Graeter’s ice cream. The Process Technician is responsible for ensuring that the ice cream production room has the appropriate quantity of product to freeze and ensures that the product maintains its quality throughout the process. The Process Technician is also responsible for utilizing a sophisticated CIP system to properly clean all process equipment and piping.

Job Requirements:
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Candidates must be able to maintain high energy throughout a 10-hour work day while repeatedly lifting up to 70 pounds and being on your feet.
- FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT: Minimum of 40 hours/week
