Requirements:
- Must be able to travel throughout Minnesota, North and South Dakota
- Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites
- Valid Driver's License, preferably Class A
- Acceptable motor vehicle record
- Previous heavy equipment operator experience
- Strong mechanic skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Operates blade to level materials for finish grade of land and roadways.
- Reads grade stakes and works with grade checker, laser or GPS to maintain grade
- Inspects and maintains blade
- Solid understanding of grades, transitions and curves
- Avoids hazards such as utility lines and falling objects
- Performs other tasks as needed
- Complies with Company Safety Program
