Description:

1. Business Intelligence experience, with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
2. Minimum of 8+ years of demonstrated hands-on development experience with Tableau
3. Have experience with performance tuning specific to Tableau.
4. Strong experience in design and development of building Tableau reports and dashboards
5. Strong experience with Tableau (Tableau Desktop accepted, Tableau Server a plus).
6. Proficiency in data visualization, dashboard design, and workflow
7. Ability to translate requirements into sustainable and efficient visualizations and reporting
8. Experience in creating complex formulas and calculations
9. Performance tuning and optimization
10. Understanding of data modeling based on specifications
11. Strong analytical skills to solve and model complex business requirements
12. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology
13. Testing including unit, integration, performance, and regression
14. Proven analytical, problem-solving, time management and organizational skills
15. Good communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
16. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Data Visualization and Dashboard Creation:

• Develop visually compelling and insightful dashboards to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.

• Utilize advanced visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to transform raw data into actionable insights.

Report Authoring:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and design comprehensive reports.

• Create and maintain standardized reporting templates, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all reporting outputs.

Data Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

• Provide actionable insights derived from data analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Communication with Senior Leadership:

• Regularly communicate updates, insights, and findings to senior leadership through presentations and reports.

• Act as a liaison between the reporting team and senior management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to validate the accuracy and reliability of data visualizations and reports.

• Proactively identify and address data discrepancies, ensuring data integrity across all reporting outputs.

Interactive Dashboards:

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards that provide a real-time overview of key performance indicators (KPIs) and critical business metrics. These dashboards should be user-friendly and tailored to meet the needs of different stakeholders.

Data Visualizations:

• Create visually compelling charts, graphs, and other data visualizations to represent complex information in an easily understandable format. This includes trend analyses, correlation studies, and other relevant visual representations.

Ad Hoc Analysis:

• Conduct ad hoc analyses in response to specific requests or emerging trends. The Senior Analyst should be able to quickly explore and interpret data to answer business questions and address immediate concerns.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

• Actively seek opportunities to enhance reporting processes, data visualization techniques, and analytical methodologies. Implement improvements to increase efficiency and the overall effectiveness of reporting.

Documentation:

• Document reporting processes, methodologies, and key decisions to create a knowledge base for the reporting team. This documentation ensures consistency and facilitates knowledge transfer within the organization.

Program specific deliverables:

• Privacy Report Tool – Centralized privacy reporting into one tool (to simplify the multiple dashboards in production today).

• Privacy logic enhancements – Address the backlog and future enhancements of the privacy reports.

• Remediation Report Enhancements – More quickly respond to privacy remediation requests for insights into progress and status updates.

• Operational Reliability Reporting – Build and support operational reliability efforts such as DPCA; partnering with development operations to create a single view into data asset performance.

• Proven experience (3+ years) in data visualization, dashboard creation, and report authoring.

• Proficiency in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization platforms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.

• Experience working with senior leadership or executive teams preferred.
