Employment Type Part Time Job Summary Job Summary Subject's Course Facilitators are an integral part of the educational experience for learners on our platform.

Primarily, this team of contracted licensed educators provides scores and feedback for all coursework submitted by Subject learners. Additionally, Course Facilitators work closely with Subject's Operations and Education teams to provide feedback on future platform and curriculum decisions based on student feedback and performance. Finally, on occasion, Course Facilitators may be called upon to provide additional academic support to learners (e.g.

virtual tutoring, etc.). This is a part-time role that pays hourly and is a fully remote position. Work expectation is 10-15 hours/week.

Start date is flexible but preferably by March 11th. Compensation is set at $30/hour to start and may increase based on performance and tenure. What You'll Do We are looking for one California-based facilitator to work with our Biology students in our Biology courses.

This is a highly impactful position that operates at the front lines of our business. Job Description / Essential Elements: Print Grade all submitted work for your courses within 48 hours using rubrics when available and provide substantive feedback on student work Become an expert in and provide feedback on Subject's proprietary curriculum Relay student inquiries and student behavioral issues (e.g. plagiarism, etc.) to Subject's Operations Team in a timely manner Ensure all content meets Subject's standard of quality Provide additional support to students in the form of synchronous or asynchronous tutoring as needed and directed by Subject Requirements / Qualifications Requirements / Qualifications Critically, a prerequisite for this role is to hold a valid CA CTC issued credential and have met subject matter competence via CEST exam (or equivalent) or coursework (ex.

via a Subject Matter Preparation Program) in Biology.
