The BIM Designer will be responsible for managing digital engineering / BIM delivery and continuous improvement of digital engineering processes. What you can expect:
- Working with project teams to develop and optimize digital workflows, processes and applications.
- Identifying innovation opportunities
- Taking part in R&D
- Day-to-day consultation with other team members
- Creating and developing project specific digital engineering / BIM plans, considering current standards;
- Assisting with troubleshooting digital systems and refining best practices;
- Create company templates related to software operation such as Revit, SmartPlant, Navisworks and other AEC software.
- Taking ownership of 3D models and making updates as per design and or coordination requirements.
- Creating construction documentation such as plans and layouts.
- Creating company templates such as title blocks, families and training documentation
- 1+ years of experience in: SmartPlant, Revit, or similar tools within the electricalspace.
- Understanding of digital engineering / BIM processes.
- Understanding and awareness of modelling and drafting.
- Ability to assist with the set up and maintenance of a common data environment (CDE);
- Familiarity of Open BIM workflows, interoperability and exchange between various authoring and BIM management tools.
