This position will manage Bills of Materials (BOM) for the organization. This includes, but is not limited to, standardization of structure and part number descriptions, audits, and accuracy of replacement percentages as determined by business necessity. The Bill of Materials Analyst is responsible for the accuracy of Bills of Materials to support procurement, manufacturing, material requirements and costs.

This position must analyze all BOM and routing change requests to ensure that each level of the multi-level BOM is changed in accordance with the requested change and ensure that the change request is necessary. Facilitate any discussions that are required to resolve issues relating to BOM and Item creation and maintenance. Participate in or lead teams/groups related to BOM accuracy.

Perform special cost analysis, prepare reports, and other related duties as assigned. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure content of BOM is always up to date. The Ideal candidate will be comfortable with reviewing spreadsheets and interpreting data to understand technical systems and the cause and effect of the changes made.

The candidate must have excellent communication skills as they will be working closely with the supply chain, engineering, and production. Experience in manufacturing and working with Bill of Materials will be helpful to the candidate to analyze the data and make recommendations for change. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Describe the top three to five key job responsibilities and expected end results.

Create and manage the standardization of Bill of Materials for structure and part number descriptions with a focus on simplification. Expert level knowledge of Syteline and all functions related to BOM functionality. Support internal PPAP process to ensure BOMs are created with accuracy for newly released part numbers.

Partner with Supply Chain and sales for scope of BOM impact on material management and pricing accuracy Responsible for the BOM documentation and approvals for changes to current BOMS Respond to Engineering Inquiries (EI) related to BOMs and communicate appropriately throughout the organization regarding progress and completion of EI activities. Help Identify part yield variance and communicate with Process Engineers to determine root cause and improvement opportunities. Develop and coordinate BOM audit schedule with documentation and reports on findings.

Perform other duties when assigned by the supervisor. Requirements: Bachelor's degree required.

Degree in business or technical discipline preferred. Two years' experience with remanufactured products preferred. Proven skills with organization, accuracy and attention to detail.

Good oral and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Expert knowledge of Excel and ability to communicate technical concepts to individuals with varied knowledge and skill.
