THE POSITION:
- We're growing and promoting from within and now need an Office Administrator. Are you a talented multitasker who loves interacting with people? We're looking for a positive and professional Receptionist to be the face of our local business. You'll welcome visitors, clients, and fellow employees, forward faxes, answer phone calls and emails, sort and deliver mail, schedule meetings, and assist us with other operations as needed. THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to incoming phone calls and emails and make sure the right people receive all important information.
- Perform administrative tasks.
- Order Supplies.
- Manage projects.
- Schedule appointments and ensure the business calendar is accurate and up to date.
- Assure incoming and outgoing mail is managed appropriately and handle deliveries.
- Give every employee, client, and visitor a warm welcome at the front desk and communicate any important information or directions.
- Assist with other administrative tasks, such as data entry, copying, filing etc.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE
- Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations.
- Must have graduated high school and received a G.E.D. or equivalent.
- Bilingual Spanish is required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and verbal communication skills.
- Administrative experience
- At least 1 year of experience as an administrative assistant, guest service specialist, or similar position preferred.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
