High-Volume Pain Management group looking for a full-time Bilingual Medical Billing Assistant.
Summary of Position:
The Medical Billing Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the group's eligibility verification and obtaining authorizations, following-up with payers and appealing claim denials, and communicating with patients regarding their benefits, claims, and out of pocket expenses. High attention to detail is required for this position. This position is stationed at our 1617 E Windmill Lane, Ste 300, Las Vegas, NV 89123 location.
The ideal candidate is someone who is highly motivated and able to work well independently but is also a team player. We are seeking a candidate who takes pride in their everyday tasks and excels in following directions and meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Perform all daily billing functions in integrated systems.
Timely and accurate submission of documentation to payers as requested.
Assist with overseeing accurate eligibility verification has been performed and proper authorizations obtained.
Answer billing-related questions from patients, doctors, and insurance companies.
Proactively determine solutions for handling unique billing situations.
Assist Billing Manager with a variety of other daily tasks as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Knowledge of current ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurances preferred.
Knowledge of revenue cycle billing preferred.
Strong organization, written and verbal communication skills.
Be able to function both independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment.
Requires a high level of interpersonal, problem solving and analytic skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in Spanish
Intermediate computer skills with knowledge of Google drive, RingCentral also preferred
Ability to multi-task
