Bilingual Legal Intake Specialist (Spanish/English Required)

We are a growing mass tort law firm seeking experienced and reliable English and Spanish speaking Intake Specialist to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing intake calls, taking messages, and conducting initial intake for potential new clients. As the client-Intake Specialist, you are the face and voice of the office and help people who are looking for our legal services. In addition to being the first contact with the public, you will support the legal team's work with clients.

Legal Intake Specialist Responsibilities:

• Answer and route incoming calls professionally and promptly
• Interview prospective clients by phone to become familiar with their cases
• Evaluate prospective clients’ claims to determine whether they’re in line with the areas of practice and experience of the firm
• Take accurate and detailed notes for attorneys and staff
• Enter client information into the Law Firm’s software application
• Performing administrative support tasks as assigned

Legal Intake Specialist Skills & Qualifications:

• Bilingual Spanish and English speaker.
• Customer service skills to make prospective clients feel welcome
• Candidates must display a high degree of empathy in communications with prospective clients
• High-level listening skills to gain a thorough understanding of claims
• Demonstrates interviewing skills during accident investigations
• Strong written and oral communication skills to explain next steps and draft client profiles
• Organizational skills to keep track of prospective client information, monitor lead statuses, and update lead information as needed
• Multitasking ability to move quickly from one inquiry to another
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows operating system, and Outlook email
• Candidates with experience in the same or similar position will have preference.
