Job description

Title: HR Generalist - Bilingual [Holland] Salary- Exempt
Reports to: HR Director
MISSION
To create a positive and inclusive work environment, attract and retain top talent and provide exceptional human resources services and support to the onsite Leadership Team and all employees.
KEY OUTCOMES (KPI’S)
1)
OUTCOME: Build effective local talent management programs and processes

Meet or exceed hiring goals by sourcing, screening and presenting qualified candidates, within area of responsibility, to hiring managers while ensuring a high level of candidate and hiring manager satisfaction and timely filling of open positions.

Adhere to equitable employment practices.

Develop and actively manage talent pipeline for hourly positions.

Responsible for coordinating or attending recruiting events to reach the best pool of top talent.

Collaborate with the corporate Talent Acquisition Manager for salary level positions.
2)
OUTCOME: Successfully onboard and offboard employees to ensure best in class experience

Creates, plans, organizes and conducts new hire orientation

Excellent communication between employees and managers to keep all parties informed and up to date.

Successfully completes the exit checklist for any employee leaving the organization and leads managers through the process

Utilizes tools and HRIS system to keep HR department employees up to date on employee statuses
3)
OUTCOME: Manages day to day benefits administration processes
1.
Administers health and welfare plans, including assisting employee with enrollments, changes and terminations and claim questions. Ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions through payroll. Verifies all insurance billing, ensures compliance with required benefit notices.

Completes administrative processes in HRIS systems and creates reports for local site.

Fields FMLA, STD, LOA, workers compensation, and completes appropriate documentation.

Promote Wellness Program initiatives locally.

OUTCOME: Proactively communicates relevant information to Team Members

Development, in collaboration with global People Operations team, the company-wide communication strategy and then execute locally.

Determine multiple, diverse, communication methods for disseminating information to the local employee population to ensure all are kept up to date on all relevant company information.

Translating materials or verbal communication from English to Spanish language

Proactively seeks creative ways to promote and market employee benefit programs
5)
OUTCOME: Positive Employee Relations

Fostering a positive work environment by supporting leaders on resolving workplace conflicts and proactively working with leaders to minimize employee concerns. Conducting investigations when appropriate.

Champion & actively contributing to the advancement of employee engagement initiatives while spearheading enhancements to the work environment to continuously elevate the employee experience and the branch Gallup score.

Leads the planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
