Bilingual Fulfillment Line Assembly Lead

JOB SUMMARY

The Fulfillment Lead is involved with the planning, coordination, and control of the order assembly production processes. The lead oversees the production line worker staff, ensuring that the scheduled workload is produced at maximum efficiency.

This position handles the close detail involved in successful execution of the production plan, always staying focused on production targets and timelines. This position serves as liaison for communicating the needs of the company to the staff, and the needs of the staff to management. A key focus is for the development of the staff through a set tier progression.

This position works closely with the Logistics Manager assists in the monitoring of staff and the daily workload.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

· This position reports to the Logistics Manager and does not supervise any of the staff.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Lead the product pick, pack and ship as well as order assembly production processes.

· Monitor and report on key performance indicators of productivity.

· Ensure that orders are processed on time, and all necessary parties are alerted if an unforeseen variable delays this process

· Update daily status report with previous day’s staff productivity counts and status

· Perform productivity audits of line worker at designated checkpoints and provide leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives

· Process shipments as needed

· Participates in the hiring, supervising and evaluating of all department employees

· Ensure customer orders are complete and shipped in accordance to the specifications indicated on the order

· Prepare, evaluate, and maintain employee performance reviews and time cards

· Ensure all staff conform to established departmental Standard Operating Procedures

· Monitor and report on all orders processed through department.

· Perform other duties as assigned

· Must have leadership and execution skills

· Proven track record in supervising production team

· Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems and meet deadlines

· Ability to manage time efficiently

· Effective communication/comprehension skills – verbal and written

· Basic computer proficiency on Microsoft applications

· Bilingual (Spanish) or the proven ability to supervise Spanish speaking employees is a plus

REQUIRED

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Continuing education or degree in management a plus.

· Experience in production environment in a supervisory role, preferred.

· Bilingual in English/Spanish

· Proven track record of past success.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

· Physical Requirements – ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, climb ladders, and lift materials up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
