Adecco Healthcare is currently seeking a direct hire, full time skilled Bilingual Care Navigator to join our client's team in Independence, Missouri 64050.
Compensation: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
Job Summary:
- Greet members warmly upon arrival, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure while guiding them through a streamlined check-in process.
- Update member information in the electronic medical records system.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals for a multidisciplinary care team.
- Assist members with completing paperwork via electronic kiosks, as needed.
- Request and upload medical records into the electronic medical records system.
- Address inquiries from both prospective and current members, as well as their adult children.
- Manage incoming calls, take detailed messages, and relay relevant information to the appropriate individual.
- Support center events as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages spoken within the community we serve.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive and welcoming demeanor.
- Passion for delivering high-quality experiences to our senior members.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including staff, providers, members, family members, insurance carriers, vendors, and the public.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance, and/or electronic medical record systems.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of one year of work experience in a clinical setting or similar environment.
- Experience working with EMR systems is a plus.
