ON-SITE Bilingual Call Center Specialist

Contract-to-hire

 Core Experience:

  • 4+ years of health Call Center experience
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Ability to communicate clearly with various associates, managers and patients
  • Capable of meeting established departmental benchmarks and deadlines

Additional Skills:

  • Minimum of High School Degree or equivalent

A Day in the Role:

  • Promptly answer telephone calls via Avaya workflow, mail and in-person inquiries, concerns, and complaints from patients, guarantors and third parties concerning billing matters
  • Resolve issues quickly, courteously, and effectively.
  • Forward request for information/issue resolution to the appropriate EPS department or individual, as required via ETM workflow
  • Document activity via ETM workflow; communicates chronic problems to Manager.
  • Discuss/review accounts with patients via telephone or in-person
  • Prepare/establish payment plans for patients via Cedar portal

Work Environment:

  • On-site in office, location in Borough Park
  • Near mass transit
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00AM-4:30PM; 37.5 hour work week o Unpaid 30 minute lunch
