MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED, One year in experience in a residential setting, Ability to lift 50 pounds, Current CPR certification or must be obtained within 30 days of hire, Excellent communication skills, Impeccable organization and time management skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The transporter is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of UC minors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Establishes and maintains communication with clients and coworkers to improve quality of service and customer satisfaction.
- Transport clients inside and outside of the facility to designated areas in a punctual and timely manner.
- Lifts clients in and out of bed, chairs, taxis and ambulances to move them to and from treatment areas and procedure rooms.
- Offers comfort and support to clients and their families.
- Follows all protocols and procedures to ensure safe delivery of clients, their possessions, supplies and laboratory specimens.
- Maintains a secure, clean and healthy work environment by adhering to the standards and regulations that are set forth by the hospital and local, state and federal governments,
- Routinely complies with the standards set forth by CARF and HIPAA. Regularly participates in ongoing education to improve knowledge and skills.

Pay: $66,560.00 per year
