Big Data Platform Developer (Hybrid Work) - Secret Clearance Required

RBR-Technologies is seeking a Big Data Platform Developer to support the improvement, integration, and deployment of a tactical Big Data Platform into the standard operations for cyber defenders and protection teams for USMC-managed networks and terrain. Candidate must have expertise in data ingestion, dashboarding and display of ingested data for customer consumption at the user, analyst, and leadership levels. Candidate will assist customers in developing custom analytics against varied domain data sets to provide actionable metrics against the domains participating in the unified data fabric.

Will be asked to provide technical leadership on major tasks and technology assignments. Will establish and define goals and plans to meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge. Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management. Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation. May supervise others.

This position is hybrid, with the expectation the 50% of work will be conducted on site. Travel is regularly required to support this effort, with a frequency of up to 8-10 trips per year to support remote customer interactions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Active Secret Clearance Required to be considered.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Agile, SAFev6, or scrum certification.
• 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting Defensive Cyber Operations.
• Experience supporting USMC or other DoD customer.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience leading teams.
• Experience delivering iterative products in an Agile methodology required.
• At a minimum, a qualified candidate will possess demonstrated expertise with the following languages, technologies and tools:
  • Elastic Ingest
  • Kibana Dashboarding
  • HTML/CSS/JAVASCRIPT
  • JAVA
  • Python
  • Kubernetes
  • Docker Containers experience
  • RHEL Linux Experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work 40 hours per week/ 8 hours per day in a remote and in-person office environment with repetitive typing and handling phone calls. The position consists of mostly sitting or optionally standing at a desktop.
