Big Data Engineer

HigherGov, is the largest and most comprehensive source of federal, state, and local data, is seeking a talented and experienced Big Data Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Design, construct, install, test and maintain highly scalable data management systems.

- Develop tools to monitor, debug, and analyze data accuracy.

- Use various methods to interpret and analyze data streams in real time.

- Employ sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning, and statistical methods to prepare data for use in predictive modeling.

- Support development of analyst reports.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in Postgres, Python, and Big Data Frameworks. Experience with Django and Javascript a plus.

- Proven expertise in handling and analyzing large data sets.

- Strong knowledge in the application of general and specific AI models.

- Understanding of government contracting is highly desirable.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
