The Bidding and RFP Specialist will analyze opportunities and participate in RFP and Bidding Processes, to help the firm win new projects. Duties:
- Overall cost study based on project design and scope to be developed. • Identifying, quantifying, and estimating costs in a project.
- Contact and management of suppliers of goods and services.
- Gather quotes, proposals, and purchase terms and conditions.
- Request and comparative analysis of quotations.
- Organize and plan RFP works.
- Request, produce and coordinate all technical documents required by the RFP technical descriptions, methodologies, planning, etc.
- Presentation of technical and cost proposals.
Requirements:
- Training in architect, civil engineer, interior design, etc. or related field
- Minimum five years of proven professional experience in Bidding and RFP processes in the US cultural and/or entertainment industries. Previous experience in the business of museum-content development will be highly valued.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of design tools such as AutoCad. Working knowledge of planning tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc). Knowledge of Adobe design tools for document layout will be valued.
- Willingness to travel
