SalaryWe are excited to be looking for a bike mechanic at our small, fast-paced shop. We need help getting new bikes assembled and tuned, basic repairs on service bikes, as well as handling walk-in repairs like flat fixes and gear adjustments.
We will be providing training necessary to work with our systems and vendors, new industry technology, and open to any ideas you would like to bring to the table. You will also help customers, answer phone calls, and we'd love to send you out to some local bike events.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Build bikes for shop inventory & customer orders
- Install accessories when bikes are purchased
- Perform full tune ups & walk-in repairs
- Communicate expectations and timelines clearly to customers
- Run aid station at local events we support
- Help with other shop projects
Qualifications
- Experience working on bikes: personal or at a previous shop
- Excellent customer service
- Willingness to serve the person in front of you
- Creative problem solver
