JOB DUTIES: Manage a custom web application built with Java using the Spring Framework. Document significant system concepts using Confluence and use JIRA to record the development, testing and release of small and large changes to the platform. Troubleshoot problems, and makes changes to those integrations. Follow good process governance with the use of JIRA for Change Management and Confluence to document system design and requirements. Help with the development of new reports as identified by the reporting team manager. Understand requirements fully and make recommendations for changes or clarifications before they start to do development. Support testing with upgrades to systems that the Portal built. Understand the need to maintain separation of data by customers and the protections required by HIPAA and regulations. Develop system and use method that ensure the highest level of security and privacy. 100% telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalency in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study and five years of experience in the job offered, software development, or related occupation. Will accept Master's degree, or foreign equivalency in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study and two years of experience in the job offered, software development, or related occupation in lieu of the Bachelor's Degree and five years of experience.
Must have two years of experience in each of the following skills:
OFFERED WAGE: $111,300 - $175,300/year

- OLAP Database: Sybase IQ, Oracle SuperCluster;
- OLTP: Oracle;
- Programming Languages: Java, HTML, Javascript, CSS, or SQL;
- API's: Spring, JPA/Hibernate, POI, PrinceXML, ASPOSE Cells, FusionCharts, JQuery, or Dojo;
- Development / IDE: Eclipse, InteractiveSQL, Aqua Data Studio, TOAD, RazorSql, or ISQL;
- Change Management: JIRA and Confluence;
- Version Control: SVN.
