Duties & Responsibilities 

•  Data, Integration Architecture and data modeling – Bring your expertise to help us create best in class solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and APIs to integrate data from a variety of hosted and on-premises enterprise solutions supporting Operations, HR, Finance, Marketing, etc. into our internal environment for data warehousing, reporting, and analytics. 
• Planning & Solution Delivery – Work with the department manager and IT project management to define the scope and schedule for delivering data integration solutions. Proactively monitor delivery risks and issues.  Strive to deliver work packages to agreed upon schedule and budget. Contribute to the overall application development team plan.
• Visualization Design – Strong understanding of, and experience building, effective charts and visualizations. Ability to design impactful dashboards aimed at displaying large amounts of data in a way to drive better, more informed decisions for the firm.
• Requirements Gathering – Work directly with our business partners to identify, understand, and translate key metrics into high quality analytics solutions designed to enhance and improve critical business processes.
• Innovation – Champion the introduction of new tools, technologies, and best practices for integration, master data management, maintenance, testing, deployment, reporting & analytics.
• Data Architecture – Partner with our DBA and Data Integration Specialist to ensure the enterprise data lakehouse is built to best support reporting and analytics requirements, both now and for future capabilities.
• Governance – Work with subject matter experts to build solutions using approved calculations and data elements, emphasizing proper data governance.
• Risk &Compliance – Ensure that all BI solutions are designed and built to comply with, and at all times, adhere to Cherry Bekaert security, data privacy and other risk & compliance policies, procedures and controls

Required Competencies, Skills & Abilities

Competencies

• 3+ years working with enterprise-wide data, analytics and reporting solutions
• 2+ years of experience using Power BI
• Experience with SQL/SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• Experience using DAX preferred

Skills & Abilities

• Good communication skills, with experience gathering requirements directly from users
• Strong project and time management skills
• A passion for continued learning and drive for results

   

Required Education and/or Experience

• Bachelors Degree required

• Microsoft DA-100: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent
