Job Overview:

The BI Data and Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting the company's sales and strategies, through reporting and analysis. They will partner with all business units to improve efficiencies, deliver new solutions and maintain a high-quality control environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated a passion for problem solving and critical thinking, the drive to improve their technical skills and the resilience to work in an innovative company. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are junior analysts and want to work with a tenured team to grow their analytical skills. 

We are looking for qualified candidates that are located in Connecticut and who are able to commute to the office in Orange, Connecticut three days a week.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with business line leaders to provide regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysis on key sales metrics, goals, trends and KPI’s. 
  • Complete month end reporting including sales incentives. 
  • Maintain data driven solutions using SQL Server and various business intelligence tools including Power BI. 
  • Identify and diagnose data quality issues; provide recommendations on solutions and manage resolution. 
  •  Ensure accuracy of all reporting by maintaining a thorough Quality Control environment. 
  •  Facilitate communication with field and senior management via automated reporting, regional research and requests. 
  •  Respond in a timely, professional and accurate manner to all ad-hoc requests from field and senior management.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

    • 1 - 3 years in an analyst role preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    •  Exposure to SQL, Microsoft SSRS, Power BI and DAX. 
    • Located in Connecticut. 
    •  Ability to multi-task and juggle a variety of duties with deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality control in a fast pace environment 
    • Excellent problem solving skills 
    •  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
    • Excellent and professional verbal and written communication. 
    • Exhibit a positive attitude, action oriented and flexible. 
    • Ability to see the big picture while having an exceptionally sharp focus. 
    • Ability to synthesize large sets of data from multiple, seemingly unrelated sources. 
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
