Bi Adjuster - Gainesville, Fl Area

We are accepting applications/resumes for an experienced Bodily Injury Liability adjuster in the Gainesville, FL area. This position is a remote work opportunity with the expectation to travel to the client site in Gainesville, FL, as needed. The position must, therefore, reside in the Gainesville FL area.

The primary responsibilities of this position will be to adjust liability claims for self-insured clients involving Automobile, General Liability, Property, and Professional Liability losses for government municipalities. This position requires thorough and complete investigations to gather sufficient information to make informed and knowledgeable coverage and liability decisions.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Investigate and evaluate coverage, liable,quality and damages in hand of all lines of coverage
• Evaluate and negotiate fair and equitable settlements
• Maintain proper reserves on all claims
• Maintain current diary on all claims
• Control expenses
• Pursue subrogation recoveries
• Report claims to excess carrier(s) as required
• Maintain 9a 7% closing ratio
• Meet and maintain general file-handling goals and procedures as outlined by the client and JE management
• Deliver exceptional customer service through professional and timely communication including telephone, email,l and written correspondence
• Maintain and continue to improve technical expertise in the areas handled

Requirements:

• At least three years of BI experience
• All-Lines Florida License
• Exceptional organizational skills
• The ability and desire to solve problems
• Experience with MS Word, Excel,l and Outlook
• Analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
