CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATION:
Florida License in mental health field required under Florida Statutes Chapters 458, 459, 490 or
491. Must have knowledge and understanding of substance abuse treatment and services to
include knowledge of 65-D30 / MCAP certified or in process of receiving.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree in the field of counseling, social work, psychology or a related human services
field. Three years' experience in leadership and management providing clinical supervision to
supervisees, direct service care with persons with mental illness, substance abuse and or cooccurring
disorders. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
SUMMARY:
Team Leader will monitor Screenings, assessments, diagnosing, group and individual
counseling, treatment planning, implementation of treatment plan, educational services,
assessing effectiveness of services, collaboration with other agencies/service providers and
documentation of all services. Serves as liaison between clinical staff and Clinical Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide weekly supervision to team members, student interns and attend weekly
supervision with Clinical Director 100% of the time.
• Update program trackers weekly as well as provide overview of program progress to
Team Leader agenda by COB Wednesday
• 100% of all evaluations will be completed at a minimum of 1x quarterly per staff member
supervised.
Ensure attendance and participation in weekly clinical staffing, quarterly training,
community partner meetings, etc.
• Serves as liaison between clinical staff and Clinical Director daily if applicable.
• Completes Brief Behavioral as part of the open access process on days assigned.
• Signs off on all electronic outpatient assessments and treatment plans and treatment plan
reviews for unlicensed clinicians as outlined by policy.
• Provide on-boarding training plan to training managers prior to new employee orientation
and provide on-boarding training to new employees and interns following the 30-60-90
plan for the position.
• Assists Clinical Director in the interviewing and selection of interns and clinical staff.
• 100% of the time monitors and ensures clinician compliance to electronic health records
as outlined in agency policy and procedures as well as monitors clinician's participants
engagement hours to meet agency requirements and provide coaching when requirements
are not met.
• Monitors monthly Quality Record Reviews (QRR) to ensure compliance with agency
standards.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As directed by the Clinical Director, a licensed practitioner may, when certified by Florida
Statute, provide clinical/qualified supervision for registered interns and other community mental
health practitioners. Will conduct departmental meetings and attend agency committee meetings
as directed by the Clinical Director.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
• Provide weekly supervision to team members, student interns and attend weekly
supervision with Clinical Director 100% of the time with the use of supervision logs that
will be electronically filed in supervisees employment record or intern record.
• Update program trackers weekly as well as provide overview of program progress to
Team Leader agenda by COB Wednesday
• 100% of all evaluations will be completed at a minimum of 1x quarterly per staff member
supervised and tracked through Paycor.
• Documentation Timeliness- Complete all service data entry billing and service
documentation within 24 hours of service delivery. (Assessments, Assessment tools such
as: ASAM, GPRA, DLA-2; Outreach notes, Care Coordination notes, Miscellaneous
notes, Individual notes, Group notes, Psych Notes, MedAdmin Notes, Targeted Case
Management notes, etc.) in accordance with department policy
• Achieve 450 Impact Hours per fiscal year (10 Weekly Hours) in accordance with Policy
HR-56 Impact Standards for Outpatient Team Leader
