Position Summary:

· Set up downstream equipment for production runs.

· Ability to perform Level 1 Maintenance of all downstream equipment.

· Responsible for starting, stopping, and repairing minor problems with Rommelag and Weiler downstream equipment.

· Responsible for clearing machine jams and minor adjustments of downstream equipment.

· Assist Maintenance in the trouble shooting of downstream equipment.

· Ability to manually operate and perform basic maintenance of Laser Guided Vehicles (LGVs) including battery changes.

· Manages bulk product on all BFS lines.

· Demonstrates basic understanding of cleanrooms, including but not limited to, gown certification, appropriate cleanroom behavior, and aseptic technique.

· Performs housekeeping duties to maintain a high level of cleanliness of Rommelag and Weiler BFS Lines.

· Required to perform additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required.

Primary Accountabilities:

· Work along and under the direction of Shift Supervisor and Shift Leads.

· Wraps and straps finished product skids.

· Moves finished product to warehouse using hand truck or walk behind forklift, if needed.

· Assist in the repair of department equipment as needed.

· Assist to assure the efficient performance of all department equipment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· High school diploma or equivalent. Able to operate computer, fax machine, and copier.

· Previous experience in cGMP/ Aseptic Operations preferred

· Machine Operator experience

· Troubleshooting production equipment

· Employer will train

· Requires strong attention to detail and must have no physical limitations.

· Must speak and understand English

· Position requires reaching (arm to overhead), bending, climbing, lifting (up to 45 lbs.), reaching, standing (85%), and walking (15%).

· Incumbents are required to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, bouffant, laboratory coat and other non-specified protective equipment as necessary.
