Job description

Gannett Fleming is currently seeking a team-oriented Bentley ProjectWise Administratorwith a collaborative, innovative, and strategic mindset to help us meet our current digital delivery initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for enterprise management and strategic  development, configuration and implementation of dynamic and managed custom and client specific Bentley workspaces. The individual will ensure standards and best practices are adhered to and that users can operate efficiently in both Select Series and Connect Platforms which includes Bentley's Open Design Environment.

 

This individual will be apart of a group of subject matter experts who will be responsible for troubleshooting issues in relation to deployments, workstations, distribution points and working with our Procurement Manager and Security Manager to maintain compliance as it pertains to software licensing and usage among our staff.

 

This can be a fully remote position anywhere within the United States. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Architect and administer a corporate ProjectWise environment on a global scale.
  • Develop a strategy for the ProjectWise common data environment that aligns to the business and technology goals of the company.
  • Configure ProjectWise to optimize and automate where possible.
  • Serve as the technical development lead for the review, development, implementation, and deployment of the ProjectWise data sources.
  • Support the Company's SHEQ and ISO 9001, 19650 and 27001 standards within their scope of duties.
  • Maintain current policies regarding ProjectWise structure, usage, and functions in support of companywide consistency and efficiency.
  • Manage ProjectWise Configuration, Project Setup and Maintenance
    • Maintain data sources and standards of work.
    • Establish and maintain ProjectWise environments and data sources.
    • Develop ProjectWise PowerShell scripts for ad-hoc issue resolution.
    • Ability to create and maintain API's.
    • Add new users, manage user rights for applications according to the requirements of projects and project teams.
    • Support customized development environments for planning, testing and implementation prior to the deployment of upgrades and security patches.
  • Manage Bentley IMS portal, end user training, and helpdesk tickets.
    • Document solutions for repeated issues in the knowledgebase.
    • Document and maintain a database of all current and ongoing software versions, GF, and client workspaces.
    • Provide follow-up reports (technical findings, feedback, resolution steps taken) for root cause analysis, technical assessment, and process improvement initiatives.
    • Providing updates at designated bi-weekly meeting as to status of ongoing initiatives, Service Desk tickets, training.
    • Facilitate the successful completion of Bentley's EBA Blueprints.
    • Meeting customer expectations through resolving incidents within Service Level Agreements.
    • Troubleshoot user/server issues in a timely fashion.
    • Produce technical guides and provide training for ProjectWise users.

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent professional experience
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Provide advanced support for all production failures as assigned and support and comply with company problem management standards and processes.
  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms, such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Fresh Service for change management and incident tracking.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade and excite executives, colleagues, and customers on merits of our products and strategies.
  • Ability to work both as an individual and as a team player who takes ownership and initiative, and may also lead a task, project, or team.
  • Thinks creatively, ready to challenge the status-quo, and drive innovative ideas using effective communication and teamwork skills and techniques to ensure successful collaboration and avoid peer or customer alienation.

Certifications

  • One or more of the following certifications preferred:
    • Vendor certifications (E.g., Bentley ProjectWise Certification, Bentley Open Roads, etc...).Industry-related AEC certifications such as BIM or LEED.
