About Us:
We are a logistics company for automotive manufacturing. We are headquartered in East Liberty, Ohio, halfway between Bellefontaine and Marysville. We started our Ohio operations in 1987 and have U.S. operations in most locations where there is a Honda manufacturing plant. Honda Logistics North America is the regional parent company for the subsidiaries conducting logistics services for the Honda Manufacturing plants. We are owned by Honda Logistics Inc. with headquarters in Japan.
What We Do:
Our services exist to provide just-in-time logistics for the manufacturing process. Essentially, we receive parts from many various automotive suppliers nationally and globally, then ship limited quantities called batches to Honda plants as they need them for production. We have multiple facilities supporting different Honda plants locally, nationally, and globally, as well as processes within the manufacturing facilities delivering parts to the line as they are needed for production. We also have sub-assembly functions, which is where we put together component parts to reduce some of the assembly required in the manufacturing facility. We are driven to support automotive manufacturing at the highest level.
