Benefits Representative - Onsite position at St. Jude Children's Hospital

Provides support as a single point of contact for Groups and Brokers in relation to customer service inquiries.
Job Description:
Job Responsibilities

• Receiving, investigating and resolving inquiries timely and accurately; clearly documenting all communications.
• Handling customer service inquiries and problems for groups and brokers around benefits, eligibility, and billing.
• Working with internal and external stakeholders to obtain relevant information needed for resolution.
• Participate in account / broker visits when needed, and foster positive working relationships between BCBST, brokers and group administrators.
• Must be able to work a rotating shift between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00 pm EST; and work overtime as required.

Job Qualifications
Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1 year - FACETS customer service experience

Skills/Certifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently under general supervision and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast paced environment
• Capability to handle large volumes of work
• A proven record of sustained performance is required
