As a Benefits Generalist, you will be part of a team where you’ll collaborate with other team members on our total rewards programs (benefits, retirement, compensation, and perks) and projects. You’ll be a key player helping to develop and administer benefits that drive best in class products and services that continually enhance, inspire, and motivate employees through their Kyocera journey.

Responsibilities:
+ Manage the Leave of Absence (LOA) processing. Maintain up to date and working knowledge of Federal and state leave laws.
+ Manage vendors plan administration of benefits to ensure in accordance with the terms of the plan documents and applicable laws.
+ Partner with vendors and stakeholders on the administration of benefit programs.
+ Create reports and Excel files to analyze large data sets.
+ Manage enrollment/disenrollment and escalated employee benefits related questions and work to educate and create great experiences for our employees.
+ Help build relationships with champions to ensure regular, effective programs.
+ Maintain Benefits resources/materials on various internal and vendor platforms.
+ Responsible for compliance in all areas of administration.
+ Manage the administration of third-party audits, reporting, annual financial analysis.
+ Other related duties and projects as assigned.
+ Process and maintain Leave of Absence requests.
+ Assist with the management of the company Fleet program.
Qualifications:
Required:
+ Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience
+ 3-5 years’ experience in HR, Payroll, Total Rewards with exposure to plan administration
+ Prior experience with end-to-end Leave of Absence administration
+ Up to date and working knowledge of benefit regulations
+ Must be customer focused and possess the ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop innovative solutions to a variety of unusually complex problems using a high degree of independent judgement.
+ Proficient in Word, Excel (ability to use V Look Up and Pivot tables and work accurately with large data sets), PowerPoint.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to synthesize and present complex information to lay audiences.
+ Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Must be self-directed.
+ Demonstrate the ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
+ Participate in continuing education; set achievements for certificate/certifications in Excel, Total Rewards/financial benefits along with continual workshops to keep abreast of trends and legal changes in qualified and non-qualified and the financial benefits.
+ Previous experience with ADP or other HRIS systems
Preferred:
+ Prior experience with Fleet Management and ancillary benefit plans
