Benefits Consultant / Senior Benefits Consultant
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our accomplished team as a Senior Employee Benefits Consultant. In this role, you will collaborate with our clients to conceptualize, execute, and oversee their comprehensive employee benefits programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and oversee all facets of client employee benefits programs, encompassing medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and voluntary/worksite benefits.
- Develop and present mid-year, renewal, and ad hoc reports to effectively communicate program performance.
- Evaluate strategic alternatives, offer strategic guidance, and quantify financial implications and associated risks for presented options.
- Guide clients through benefit analyses, financial assessments, claims/utilization analysis, funding evaluations, and contribution modeling.
- Evaluate medical and prescription drug proposals, including analysis of carve-out Rx PBM proposals.
- Provide expert advice on a broad spectrum of regulatory compliance issues.
- Anticipate client needs and strategize solutions proactively.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships across various organizational levels.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring quality work through guidance and skill development.

- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Executive presence with polished written and oral communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree; background in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of consulting experience across the full spectrum of employee benefits (medical, dental, life, STD, LTD, etc.).
Certificates and Licenses:
- Life, Accident, and Health License.
- GBA or CEBS Certification is a plus.
