JOB TITLE: Benefits and Pension Manager
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: CMO/Human Resources
SUPERVISOR: Deputy Human Resources Manager
Position Summary:

Under general direction of the Human Resources Manager, assists with management and oversight, planning, implementation, operation, and administration of all phases of Human Resources, including recruitment and employment, compensation and benefits, employee relations and labor relations, risk and safety, personnel records management, information systems, training and development, performance development and evaluation programs, ensuring maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies, and consistency. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
•Four years of Benefits Management to include Pension Management.
• Four years of supervisory experience across all years of job-related experience.
• Professional Human Resource Certification (PHR), Senior Professional Human Resource Certification (SPHR), SHRM – Certified Professional (CP), or SHRM – Senior Certified Professional (SCP), International Public Management Association (IPMA-CP).
Preferred Qualifications:
•Public sector Human Resources experience.
•Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP). Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) experience and/or Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP).
