Responsibilities
Position will provide analytical and technical support to the Sr. Benefits Analysts with Defined Contribution administration on the HR Benefits team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Research and resolve discrepancy reports and perform employer match corrections, as needed
- Ensure transactions are being processed according to plan and participant instruction, plan provisions and in accordance with IRS/DOL guidelines.
- Help to streamline administration with new Oracle ERP system
- Research and respond to participant inquiries regarding the plan
- Review, recommend and/or implement process improvements to assure compliance with audit controls or changes that have positive customer impact or reduces company risk/liability.
- Accurately determines and calculates an employee’s eligibility, enrollment, contributions, benefit payments with great attention to detail.
- Regularly audits and validates employee elections and enrollment data internally and against vendor records – regularly review the employee classification as it relates to retirement plan eligibility and investigates variances in status.
- Proactively identifies inconsistencies and inaccuracies and determine resolution

This position is 100% remote; can work from anywhere in the U.S. This position is a Limited Tenure position with an anticipated end date of 18 months.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or related degree with one to three years of benefits administration experience or 5 to 8 years equivalent experience in benefits administration.
Must have strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency with project management with a proven ability to employ a systematic structured approach to goal accomplishment and to identify risks and opportunities and develops contingency strategies. Ability to analyze and project financial data. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment. Ability to work independently and interact collaboratively as part of a team. Experience with Oracle and/or Payroll strongly preferred.
