We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Benefits Account Manager to join a top brokerage. You will be working with a dynamic team of benefits professionals. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in managing middle-market groups and leading renewal and open enrollment meetings.
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary: $95,000 - $105,000
- Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, Wellness Program, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), 401k Plan.

Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Act as clients' primary point of contact, offering expert advice and solutions tailored to their needs.
- Negotiation and Contracting: Skillfully negotiate contracts with carriers, ensuring the best terms for clients.
- Marketing and Renewals: Lead the marketing process, focusing on innovative strategies and effective renewals.
- Presentation Skills: Effectively present at open enrollment meetings, showcasing products and services with clarity and confidence.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with Producers and/or Account Executives to develop and execute customized service plans for each client.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, managing large group (100+).
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with carrier contracts.
- Excellent presentation abilities for open enrollment meetings.
- Self-funding experience is a plus.
- Life and Health license
