- Identify electronic/mechanical problems by use of diagnostic equipment
- Test and verify sub-assemblies and major system components
- Test, verify and repair component level electronics (Drives, PLC's, Circuit Boards, Operator Interfaces, etc.)
- Recalibrate and verify factory manufacturing specifications for pertinent equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings (ladder diagrams and schematics
- Routine use of electronic testing equipment such as Multimeters, Oscilloscopes & Circuit Testers
- Reviews part stock levels with Repair services manager
- Intermediate understanding of control software and operation
- Maintains and enters all factory acceptance testing and QC documentation
- Maintains accurate parts lists for all related equipment
- Ensures maintenance policies and procedures are met and related paperwork is in order
- Ensures all equipment QC and repair deadlines are met
- Leads in internal training with entry level personnel as required
- Cross-trains to assist in different departments as required
- Leads by example and encourages subordinates and peers to perform work in a safe manner, including the use of proper PPE, adherence to safety standards and policies, and remaining accident free.
- Keeps work area clean and organized
- Other duties as assigned or directed
- +3 years of board level trouble shooting and repair
- Advanced understanding of standard electrical procedures for safety, knowledge of standard electronic test equipment and basic A/C, D/C and digital circuit operations
- Developed trouble shooting ability, using fundamental electronics principles
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Proficient in MS office products: Word, Excel and Outlook
- HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent
