The Associate Director of Quality at Bellami will hold a pivotal leadership role with a focus on enhancing the performance of the Bellami Quality organization. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining and elevating our commitment to delivering high-quality products. In this role, the Associate Director of Quality will foster a culture centered on continuous improvement, where all team members are encouraged to actively contribute to the pursuit of excellence. This culture will not be confined solely to the Quality department but will extend throughout our organization, supporting cross-functional teams

Reporting To
Global VP Operations, BIG (with Matrix to Executive Director of Product Development, BIG)
- Maintain local in-office responsibilities within a corporate reporting structure to ensure alignment with Bellami's quality objectives.
- Play a pivotal role in value creation for the Bellami brand by upholding and enhancing product quality standards.
- Collaborate extensively across various facilities and teams, contributing to the Bellami Quality Assurance Plan.
- Take ownership of Quality control / inspection site planning and team assignments, ensuring rigorous quality control processes, in line with BIG Global quality control / inspection protocols.
- Contribute to the hiring and training of overseas Quality China teams, fostering a culture of excellence and compliance.
- Manage Quality systems, overseeing implementation and effective management to streamline quality control processes.
- Drive the collection and analysis of Customer Feedback data from all sources, utilizing data-driven insights to enhance product quality.
- Perform comprehensive data review and analysis from all collection points within the Customer Feedback Loop, identifying product trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Service to ensure the delivery of a world-class customer experience through superior product quality.
- Conduct ongoing training and communication with the Bellami Sales and Education teams, ensuring adherence to quality compliance standards and effective feedback mechanisms.
- Take a leadership role in discussions with Bellami department heads regarding all Quality projects, including the effective communication of escalations.
- Engage with the Product Development department in benchmark testing for new product development, ensuring that quality standards are met from the inception of product designs.
- Manage a change management workflow in collaboration with the Product Development team to monitor and implement product specification adjustments based on Quality feedback data.
- Conduct quality assessments and collaborate with global & domestic teams.
- Must be a hands on leader engaged in daily quality related activities
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry, biology, or other science/business-related field preferred
- Quality Assurance/Control experience in cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and/or food industries
- Familiarity with ISO certifications, facility audits, and quality standards to follow federal, state, and local regulations
- Must be able to safely lift 10+ lbs
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Strong Root Cause and Corrective Action skills
- Ability to effectively lead a team of diverse backgrounds and experience across multiple facilities
- Organizational skills, creativity, problem-solving, and visionary forward-thinking skills
- Strong facilitation, oral and written communications to all levels within the organization and external stakeholders
- Possess a leadership style that is effective at influencing organizational change
