Dover Public Schools is a progressive, culturally diverse school district in Morris County serving approximately 3,600 students, Pre-K through grade 12. Dover Department of Special Services is currently accepting applications for the position of an Special Education Department Behaviorist (BCBA). The individual should have experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, challenges with self-regulation, and varying learning and language abilities. The individual should be familiar with Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), creating Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP), Implementing Class-wide behavior management systems and various data collection strategies. The individual will be asked to work with and train teachers and support staff in both self-contained and general education classrooms to implement strategies to meet the needs of students.

Qualifications
BCBA certified or documentation of completed coursework to obtain BCBA certification
A valid New Jersey Teacher of the Handicap Certificate or Teacher of Students with Disabilities, School Social Worker, School Psychologist or School Counselor certificate.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
