Faulkner University's College of Health Sciences is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Behavior Therapist/Supervisor (BCBA/BCBA-D). This individual will provide Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and intervention services in the on-campus clinic. Population served includes, but is not limited to, pediatric clients with ASD. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.
This is a full-time (40+ hours per week) 12-month clinical faculty position. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Summary of Duties:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments
- Develop behavior intervention plans/skill acquisition (social, communication, self-care)
- Provide crisis management, consultation, and monitoring with families of clients
- Submit accurate and timely records of treatment
- Work in collaboration with clinicians in other areas of services provided (SLP, PT, OT, LPC)
- Provide practicum and internship supervision to ABA student clinicians
- BCBA-D's may also teach practicum and internship courses in addition to student supervision
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavioral Analysis, or similar degree in counseling with required ABA coursework from a regionally accredited university required
- BACB certified and licensed as BCBA or BCBA-D in Alabama or eligible for licensure in Alabama within 30 days of hire required
- BACB certified supervisor or able for such within 90 days of hire required
- Minimum of 1 year ABA clinical experience preferred
- Experience providing services to clients with ASD preferred
- Active member of the church of Christ preferred; Support of the University's Christian mission required
