We are seeking a compassionate male or female caregiver to care for and assist two female adults with Autism in Orange, CA. Both clients exhibit challenging behaviors, including biting, pulling hair, , and self-injurious behaviors. We have safety measures in place to prevent and reduce staff injuries. Behaviors may occur sporadically, varying from day to day; some days may involve constant behaviors, while others may have none. Due to these behaviors, you will work in a team of 2-4 staff per shift, emphasizing the importance of strong team player skills.
Client communication is limited.
Requirements:
- Must be available one day out of the weekend
- Valid driver's license
- Able to pass a background check
Duties:
- Light housekeeping
- Data collection
- Driving clients around the community in their vehicles
- Engaging the client throughout the shift
- Communicating with the Manager, Parents, and Team Lead daily
- Participating in activities such as hikes, malls, parks, and pool outings
- Swimming with the client is optional; however, there is an additional pay rate if you can assist in the pool.
Ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate has experience working with challenging behaviors and adults or children with moderate/severe Autism. However, we are willing to train the right candidate. The caregiver must be reliable, punctual, and responsible.
Full-time positions are available based on availability, and we are also hiring part-time and on-call staff.

Upon hire, you will need to complete a background check, which currently takes 3-6 weeks to process. The pay rate is $23-25.
