Behavioral Health Provider (Per Diem)

This position will join our team of compassionate and caring Behavioral Health Providers. We have been working hard to build our team over the past several years and we are looking for a new teammate to help meet our patient population need. Our team is close knit and dependable. We support each other and we work really closely with our primary care and pediatric physicians to support our patients needs holistically. The Behavioral Health Provider will be able to provide appropriate Behavioral Health treatment to individuals, couples, and families. The position collaborates with professionals such as, Psychiatrist, nurses, case managers and primary care physicians in developing treatment programs for providing the most comprehensive and integrated care possible for patients.

What You'll Do:

• Be available for same day and scheduled initial consultations with patients referred by PCPs.
• Triages patient to appropriate level of service internal to Mammoth Hospital's Behavioral Health program and external to other appropriate services using step-up/step-down criteria.
• Provides a range of services including screening for common conditions, assessments, and interventions related to Behavioral Health and chronic disease management programs.
• Serves as consultant to social, educational, welfare, and other agencies on individual cases or in evaluation, planning, and development of mental health programs.
• Documents goals of treatment and course of treatment.

Job Information:

• Per diem position, varied day shifts, including some weekends.
